It’s been many years since I co-wrote the textbook now known as Pre-Feeding Skills, but these milestone have only gotten more important! In this interview I join registered dietitian Katie Ferraro at Baby Led Weaning and share some activities parents & their baby can engage in even before they’re ready to start solid foods. From mouthing objects, to high chair positioning and sitting, playing and reaching, these are accomplishments every baby is going to achieve so they can independently self-feed.
